About me and my team philosophy:
The first thing I want you to know about me is that I love my job and I love working with children! I have worked with children for over 25 years and have seen over and over how profoundly love, encouragement and cultivating self worth impacts young lives. Through my model teams, I work toward that end by providing a safe place for a child to be their 100% authentic self, no judgement. I make sure they know that I respect them and value their input and participation. The environment I provide is encouraging and positive. These teams will have the opportunity to hone social skills and make friends. While one of my goals is to create amazing images that you will love, I also put premium on the experience. I am a mom and a grandma and want to provide the same standard of excellence for you and your child that I would want for my own children.
What you can expect:
My approach to team photoshoots is very relaxed - we go with the flow! I strive for a fun, no pressure or expectations atmosphere. Shyness can be a thing. So can a new environment around new people. A photoshoot day may happen on a day when the model is having a hard day, and I will meet the model wherever they're at and will work with you to come up with a Plan B if needed, providing the best possible outcome for the model. I tell you this up front because sometimes a parent will worry about how well their model will participate and that he or she might not meet whatever expectations I have. I want you to rest assured that I will never be upset or disappointed with a model who is facing a challenging day. My teams are not here for me - I am here for them. I want sessions to be relaxed and pressure free for you, as well.
I am a full service photographer. Life just moves so fast when children are young. I was a mom of young children who had the very best intentions to scrapbook and document all the things, but life just got in the way of keeping up with my desires to stay on top of this. My goal is that you receive a result worthy of your investment in the form of beautiful art that you will be proud to own, as customized products for your specific needs, so that you don't have to come away with the job of adding to your to-do list "doing something with digital images".
What sets me apart from other photographers?
Besides ensuring that you and your child have a fantastic experience, I place a premium on quality and strive for a goal of professional excellence. My photography is my art; therefore, I take the time to build a clear vision for our sessions. I do not rush the artistic process of editing, treating every image like it would be the only one you would receive. The products I offer are heirloom quality, designed to be passed on to future generations.
What comes with the model package?
- Introductory team meeting to discuss session ideas and answer questions (and for the models to meet and play - this allows for a head start on our first session). I believe in full disclosure and we will discuss the team pricing in detail. No financial commitment is required until after you receive all information at this meeting.
- Minimum of three team shoots per team that will occur between May and November 2026. Every shoot will include both individual and team pictures.
- Minimum of five digital proof images from each shoot from which to order.
- Photographer's social media sneak peek
- Delivery to you of one team and one individual digital image from each shoot for sharing on social media.
- Gallery Reveal and Order appointment
- Customized package of premium quality products with a lifetime guarantee
- 10% session fee discount on any family mini sessions I offer during 2026 (Fall Family Minis and Christmas Minis)
Investment*: Team Fee $195 (due upon signing contract) after team meeting
Product deposit** $50/mo for six months (or $300 in total by second month after signing contract)
*If there is simultaneously more than one child in a family on a team, only the team fee is applicable tfor each child (and at a 10% discount) for each model. The product deposit remains $300 total regardless of how
many siblings are on teams at the same time
**Product deposit satisfies your minimum purchase commitment and 100% of it is applied to your product order
Former Models receive a 15% discount on the Team Fee
How do I apply for my child?
